Nicole Breit
I am the owner of Sparrow Writing + Editorial Services, and in addition to my writing and editing work, am a writer of poetry and creative non-fiction.
My debut poetry collection, I Can Make Life, has been hailed by acclaimed poet and novelist, Laisha Rosnau, as a "gorgeous...memoir in verse". I Can Make Life was a finalist for the 2012 Mary Ballard poetry prize and is available exclusively at blurb.com.
I am the former Food and Health editor at Thrifty and Green magazine, and also work as a copywriter and editor for Write Ahead.
In addition to working and playing with words, I am passionate about travel, crafting, artmaking, sewing, and spending time with my kids.
To date I have contributed hubs on the topics of pregnancy loss (including a series of self-portraits following a miscarriage), interviews with inspiring women, parenting, travel, and tips on how families can save money.
My home base is at http://www.nicolebreit.com.
